Bonkers, bananas, and Ba Na Hills

Ba Na Hills was an absolutely bonkers theme park but I REALLY wanted to see the famous bridge. Those of us who participated had a fantastic morning but it was very cloudy and cold at the top of the mountain. Didn't quite get those Insta Moments...

Entering the park was a lovely water feature.

The cable car ride was incredible - over 15 minutes long.

The famous bridge

the famous travellers

Not the famous face of Boe

Not a famous Weeping Angel

Up the top we found a mini Europe. Including a German Bier Haus. Tough luck for the people who stayed down below, the family that travels together drinks free beer together!

Eventually we thought Matt and Stu and the kids might be wondering where we were and made our way back down to the sunshine and warmth.

With the whole gang back together again came a drive towards our lunch date, watching the basket boats, and possibly one of my favourite moments when I tried to order a chicken dish. "That might take a long time, I have to catch a chicken". I ordered the prawns instead.

After lunch we headed to Hoi An old town to walk and explore. Not long enough so we decided to come back later!

Just a change from Matt drinking beer - Me drinking ice coffee.

Next up, a beach detour for a bit of a rest after a busy morning with a lot of walking, then back to the old town to enjoy dinner watching the lanterns on the river. Wish we had longer to linger and explore properly.
