Cruising Koh Samui

We had an easy time boarding the Westerdam as we were led by a pair of four star mariners. First stop was the Lido and Dive in for the famous Holland America Line Hot Dogs. I am NOT a fan of tasteless liquid cheese.

  

The special birthday shirts came out again for our sail away birthday dinner.

  

The evening finished in the Billboard enjoying the requests. 

Day 2 on board was a sea day and a dressy night. 

Matt and Amanda went to a beer tasting, sorry to say it was a total waste of money as all the beers were bog standard ones that were in every bar. Glad I stuck to cocktails while keeping them company! 

 

It was much too short a port day in Koh Samui and the wait for a tender was LONG. We walked around town, ate things on sticks and Matt found a local craft beer to try. Mum and Dad and David went to the beach and Amanda and co went to look at a waterfall. They didn't get there.
